Planning Commission chairperson out in Eureka Twp.

In conducting business of the Eureka Township Planning Commission late last month, Duane Putnam called to order periods of public comment, old and new business and votes, all while knowing they would serve as his last actions as chairman.

In November, Putnam was not reappointed to the commission for another term by Eureka Township Supervisor Kristen Lower — a decision he did not agree with — as Lower replaced Putnam with Lower’s husband’s aunt.
