The members of the Odessa Township Board and local residents finally learned of the potential price tag for a new fire station, and for some, the news may have led to a case of sticker shock. Representatives from Grand Rapids-based Williams Architects headlined a presentation at the Sept. 8 Odessa Township Board meeting on a potential plan for a new 18,700-square-foot station house for the Lake Odessa Fire Department at an estimated cost of just less than $12 million, if it were built in 2027.
