A Gowen man and his 3-year-old son are recovering after sustaining serious burns to their hands in a freak garage fire incident on Wednesday afternoon.
Brendan and Emma Steikar were outside with their sons, William, 3, and Theodore, 1 and a half, enjoying an unseasonably mild February afternoon on their hilltop wooded property at 13445 Hendrickson St.
