Every Veterans Day for the past decade, Ronald “Buzz” Possehn has opened his home outside of Saranac to dozens of U.S. military veterans for a party, so he can honor them by sharing a meal. This year, starting at noon on Nov. 11, Possehn will host around 40 local veterans for his annual luncheon, from the occasional World War II veteran through those who survived the more recent conflicts in the Middle East.
