The story of the historic mural in the Greenville Post Office



When we lived in Greenville from 2008 to 2014, and I was the pastor at First United Methodist Church on the corner of Cass and Franklin, the Post Office sat kitty corner from the church. When I first walked up its steps and entered the Post Office I was taken by the large mural painted on the west wall. It was a vivid action scene of logging days reminiscent of Greenville’s beginnings.
