A night of sizzling murder and action is in store for audiences this weekend. The Cedar Springs Community Players will present David Jacklin’s adaptation of the thriller “The Maltese Falcon” at Cedar Springs’ Historic Kent Theatre from Jan. 16-18. Hard-boiled detective Sam Spade (Nick Bachman) finds himself embroiled in a dangerous search for a mysterious statuette after his partner, Miles Archer (John Miller), is murdered. Step into a shadowy world of secrets, double-crosses, and suspense as Dashiell Hammett’s classic noir novel unfolds live on stage.
