Ionia County Intermediate School District Superintendent Ethan Ebenstein announced during last Thursday’s board meeting that funding for the Great Start Collaborative (GSC) was eliminated from the state budget. Each county in the state maintains a Great Start Collaborative program and has done so for the past 20 years. The cost of these programs is covered by a state grant allocation called “32p funding.”
