The Stanton Community Fire Department will remain its own fire department for now instead of merging with the Sheridan Fire Authority, but it’s an ongoing conversation.
After the topic was discussed at last week’s Douglass Township Board meeting, the Daily News contacted Stanton Fire Chief Brian Brasington for an update.
