Stanton city manager receives 5% pay raise

The city manager of Stanton is receiving a 5% pay raise one month after obtaining high marks in an evaluation for her first year on the job. The Stanton City Commission voted 5-0 on Tuesday, with Commissioner Charles Miel absent and Mayor Bill Ferguson not voting, to approve an updated contract with City Manager Rachael Coffey.
