Second-set comeback lifts Belding volleyball over Central Montcalm in opening round of districts

With the volleyball postseason typically comes an opportunity to play against unfamiliar teams year after year.  That was anything but the case for the Belding and Central Montcalm squads Monday night.  Since 2023, the two teams have battled against each other in the same bracket of Division 2 district play with the Black Knights winning the first two previous meetings, the first being a five-set thriller to win the district title. This year’s opening round was no different by the end of the fourth set.
