Only one Boy Scout troop remains in existence in Montcalm County, so perhaps it’s not surprising that two of the most recent Boy Scouts to achieve Eagle Scout status are also brothers.
Nathan Johansen of Montcalm Township became a Boy Scout in 2016. He dropped out of the organization for two years, but was convinced by his older brother JD Johansen to finish what he started.
