The Fire Department had a fine review yesterday. Water was thrown around profusely, and one stream for a time went over the Episcopal church tower. The Hook and Ladder Company exhibited considerable dexterity in the use of their ladders. It may sometimes be discovered at a large fire that those ladders are entirely too small for much utility.
