Rep. Johnsen says new bills work for all energy sources

It was lovely, warm and sunny early Monday morning, but a group of Ionia County legislators and leaders decided to spend some of it indoors at the Michigan Works office, sharing updates about their recent activities and accomplishments. State Rep. Gina Johnsen spoke about renewable energy and the continuing debate surrounding the best ways to harness the planet's natural resources for humanity's purposes. Johnsen said two bills were introduced in the state House last week that would “retain the opportunity for all energy sources” and “put local control back.”
