Preparing for ‘substantial projects’

Greenville Public Schools begins preparations for sinking fund projects

Now two months removed from voters approving a 1.5-mill sinking fund over 10 years for Greenville Public Schools, district officials are beginning to outline the first of many projects those funds will be used for. During Monday’s Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Wayne Roedel informed the board that meetings with district officials and representatives from Kingscott Associates Inc., the architectural and engineering firm from Grand Rapids hired by the school district for the sinking fund projects, are underway.
