Pine Township contains or has public access to many lakes. Rainbow, Horseshoe, Middle, and Tacoma lakes are all within the township, along with public access on Lake Montcalm, Muskellunge Lake, Clifford Lake and Cowden lakes. Three of these lakes were topics of conversation at Monday’s Pine Township Board meeting. With an upcoming bass fishing tournament scheduled for July 28, concerns about a lack of parking near Rainbow Lake were discussed.
