Pet microchip scanners activated in Montcalm County

Montcalm County Animal Control recently received several donations, which are being used to help get animals back home.

“We were excited to be able to put some of those funds back into the community to help those within,” Director Autumn Pumford said. “We were able to purchase microchip scanners for our local police agencies. I reached out to multiple agencies throughout the county and we had three agencies that were interested in receiving a free microchip scanner.”
