New mural revives memory of Hotel Phelps at The Peddlers in Greenville

The owners of The Unique Nook and Colonial Treasures Workshop, which collectively make up The Peddlers at 112 S. Lafayette St., said they love their location in the former Huckleberry’s Restaurant building — they just wish more people knew they were there. With the addition of a new mural painted on the building’s rear exterior wall, featuring a historic element of the downtown district torn down in the late 1980s, Colonial Treasures Workshop owner Martha Perkins thinks the addition may just do the trick.
