EVERGREEN TOWNSHIP – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a Jeep failed to yield to it on Friday evening.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post were dispatched to the intersection of Sidney Road and Vickeryville Road around 5:13 p.m.
Preliminary investigation shows a 43-year-man was driving a Jeep northbound on Vickeryville Road when he failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by a 68-year-old man. The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing. Troopers were assisted on scene by Montcalm EMS, the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Department and Montcalm Central Dispatch.
