The Montcalm County Election Commission on Friday voted to deny proposed recall language for two Maple Valley Township officials, ruling that the language was unclear. Tricia Wells, a former member of the township Planning Commission, filed proposed recall language against Treasurer Meg Booth and Clerk Andi Knapp earlier this month.
