The Executive Board for the Montcalm County Commission on Aging is scheduled to meet on May 23 to hear the results of a community needs assessment they initiated and the county paid $108,000 to conduct. The gathering will also be the final meeting of the Executive Board, after the Montcalm County Board of Commissioners voted to dissolve the board on Monday. The action came after new Commission on Aging Director Lisa Posey, who has only been on the job for one month, told commissioners she didn’t feel the Executive Board was necessary for her to do her job.
