The Montcalm County Community Advancement Committee prepared to accept a second round of grant applications for local community projects and removed one of its members for repeated absenteeism during Wednesday’s meeting. The next window for grant funding will open on Aug. 1 and close on Sept. 30, with the committee's next meeting on Oct. 8 to review applications and make a second round of recommendations to the Board of Commissioners.
