Greenville City Council enters into development agreement for restoration of downtown building

After several weeks of hammering out the details, city officials have officially entered into a purchase and development agreement to transform a dilapidated downtown building into a bustling business with upstairs apartments. During Tuesday’s meeting of the Greenville City Council, members voted unanimously to approve a proposed purchase and development agreement with Midwest Holdings of Greenville in connection with the property located at 216 S. Lafayette St.
