The Maple Valley Township Board, during a half-hour meeting on Monday, unanimously voted to adopt a public comment policy as well as a list of preferred vendors. Supervisor Bruce Deur said he learned from Michigan Townships Association training, as well as from speaking with an attorney, that all townships should have a public comment policy to show compliance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act (OMA).
