It’s the end of an era in Douglass Township.
Amy Laper, who has been the township treasurer for a quarter of a century, announced her resignation at Wednesday night’s meeting, effective June 1.
Laper has been the township treasurer since 1999, the same year her father Terry Anderson became township supervisor.
