GRAND RAPIDS — A 35-year-old Howard City man died after his car went off the U.S. 131 expressway early Friday morning and struck a tree.
Michigan State Police Grand Rapids Post troopers responded to the single vehicle fatal crash that occurred at 4:27 a.m. on southbound US-131 south of Post Drive.
A Howard City man went off the roadway and struck a tree in the median. It appeared that he was not wearing a seatbelt and was declared deceased on scene, according to police.
“Please keep this family in your thoughts during this tragic time,” stated a social media post from the Michigan State Police.
