The city’s annual Autumn Celebration next Thursday evening, Oct. 23, will include a chili dog eating contest, trunk or treating, costume contests for both kids and pets, live music, face painting, crafts and much more awesome downtown fun. Plus, it’s all taking place within the city’s new social district. To accommodate all this fun and frivolity, Main Street will be closed from Dexter to Kidd during the event, and Steele Street will be closed off between Main and Adams for the duration of the Autumn Celebration from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
