The Ionia volleyball team accomplished something on Saturday that hadn’t happened in 52 years. The Bulldogs recently finished their regular season conference schedule with a perfect 7-0 record last week with a reverse sweep five-set win over Eaton Rapids, putting themselves in good standing to clinch at least a share of the league title at the Capital Area Activities Conference (CAAC) White tournament over the weekend at Lakewood. The Bulldogs’ last conference title was a shared win with Lansing Catholic in 2021.
