Ionia parent asks for transparency into staff investigations

During public comment at Monday evening's Ionia Public Schools Board of Education meeting, a local parent asked school leaders to consider creating a policy that would inform parents of ongoing investigations of staff working in local schools. C.J. Teuscher said Ionia High School teacher and coach Tracey Branch, who recently resigned “for personal reasons,” was allegedly the subject of an investigation into alleged inappropriate remarks to students.
