Ionia County increases fees for vaccines, road permits

The Health Department's immunization administration fee will double, from $10 to $20, starting Oct. 1. Health Officer Haleigh Leslie told commissioners the fee had not been increased for more than 20 years, and that the new $20 fee would still be $3 less than the $23 that both Medicaid and most neighboring local health departments charge.
