Daily News General Manager Amber Rood is the Ionia County Intermediate School District’s (ICISD) newest board member. Rood joined the ISD Board as a trustee this July after running unopposed for a vacant seat. The Belding native and resident worked as a special education paraprofessional at Belding Area Schools during the 1990s and also successfully helped one of her own children navigate the special education process.
