Before the pandemic, many towns held successful expo events, when as many local businesses as possible gathered together, usually in a school gym or rec center, to show off to the local community the very best that area businesses, clubs and organizations have to offer, all in one place and time. The concept gradually became less popular and two years ago, there was no Ionia Expo at all.
