Ionia Bulldogs swim team remains undefeated with victory over Charlotte at annual purple meet

The Ionia Bulldogs had a near-capacity crowd inside the swimming facility on Thursday night for the team’s annual purple meet — and they were treated to a packed night of action and waves of emotions. The Ionia Community Awareness fund raised $201 for the evening as the Bulldogs welcomed in Charlotte. The Bulldogs have had a very successful season this year, winning their first four dual meets of the season. The Bulldogs continued their hot streak — a 5-0 start to the season thanks to their 111-62 victory over the Orioles.
