In preparing for a road improvement project and a potential change in traffic pattern due to a proposed road diet, officials from the Michigan Department of Transportation held an informational meeting on Wednesday with the hope that local residents would weigh in. However, to the disappointment of MDOT, over a two-hour period only five people visited Eureka Township Hall during an open house presentation on the 2027 project.
