SARANAC — Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch team members are showering the community with love by donating personal care items to local organizations.

Throughout the month of May, team members in all departments collected and donated items, and in total Herbruck’s donated more than 2,000 personal care items to multiple groups helping people in need. Items collected included shampoo, conditioner, soap/body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, laundry soap, feminine care products, lotion, diapers, toilet paper, wipes and more.

“At Herbruck’s, we care deeply about the communities we serve, and that principle goes beyond our business,” said Amy Herbruck, community relations manager at Herbruck’s. “We’re proud to provide these essential items and support the organizations making a difference in our community every day.”

The items will be donated to organizations in Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Herbruck’s operates Blue Springs Egg Farm. Herbruck’s is donating the items to Relief After Violent Encounter (RAVE) – Ionia/Montcalm, Soaring Above Ionia Teen Center, Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids and My Neighbor’s Bounty in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania.

Along with these donations, Herbruck’s consistently donates more than 2 million eggs annually to support families in need. The company also gives funds, supplies and other resources to various organizations. Herbruck’s support goes to events and charities, including gifts and essential items for Toys for Tots and annual Thanksgiving meals for community members experiencing homelessness.

Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is a fourth-generation family farm based in Saranac. Herbruck’s is the largest egg producer in Michigan and has locations in Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania. For more information about Herbruck’s, visit herbrucks.com.
