Greenville secures approval for downtown bike racks

'Share the-road' striping will also be painted onto Lafayette Street

After a slight delay over a jurisdictional issue, new bike racks will be installed throughout downtown Greenville, creating a more bike-friendly district. During Tuesday’s meeting of the Greenville City Council, members voted unanimously, with Councilperson Jay Linton absent, to approve a resolution accepting a contract between the city and the Michigan Department of Transportation to allow the bike racks to be installed.
