As masses of demonstrators attempted to make their voices heard in streets, parks and other public spaces across the country on Saturday, a contingent of “No Kings” protesters worked to do the same at Veterans Memorial Park in Greenville. Part of a nationwide effort to protest President Donald Trump and his administration, the protests were held the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., marking the Army’s 250th anniversary, which coincided with the president’s 79th birthday.
