Greenville educators highlight successes, work through frustrations of distance learning


Beginning each day in front of a computer screen filled with a classroom of students, Kristen Ritter doesn’t let the fact that her classroom is virtual, with each student tuning in from home, get her down. 

Be it sitting on a living couch, laying on the floor, or attending class while wrapping up breakfast in the kitchen, the Greenville High School math teacher is just thankful that in a world put on pause due to the coronavirus pandemic, today’s technology allows her to continue educating her students — even if it’s through distance learning.
