Once again placing a focus on fire and bicycle safety, firefighters and officers with the Greenville Department of Public Safety are inviting local youth to participate in the second annual Junior Safety Academy on June 28. According to GDPS Executive Administrative Assistant Sue Powell, the Academy event is being held for children in kindergarten and up, where they will learn about fire safety as well as bike safety.
