After months of debate, revised plans and some public pushback, the Greenville City Council has approved a 172-home development within the Hathaway Green Planned Unit Development — clearing the way for what is arguably the city’s largest-ever residential project. During the June 17 meeting of the council, members voted 6-1 — with Councilperson Larry Moss opposed — to approve an application from Green Development Ventures LLC for final approval of a major amendment to the Hathaway Green PUD.
