Greenville City Council approves use of streets, public spaces for Danish Festival 


From events spanning decades in tradition to new elements featured for the first time, organizers are moving forward with preparations for the 61st annual Danish Festival in August. During Tuesday’s Greenville City Council meeting, members voted unanimously to approve the closing of certain streets and public spaces, as well as relief from the city’s noise ordinance, for festival events scheduled for Aug. 13-17.
