The inaugural Flat River Pride Festival is set for today (Saturday) at McCarthy Park, north of Greenville. The Voices of Flat River Pride is hosting the festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the park. The group has overcome some local resistance and vandalism in the park since the Montcalm County Board of Commissioners decided not to obstruct the festival from going forward.
