Supervisor resigns to return to treasurer role, outgoing treasurer voices concerns

The outgoing Douglass Township treasurer shared some fiery words of caution with residents at Wednesday’s meeting as an ongoing series of musical chairs continued at the township board level. Just a few months into her newly elected term, Cindy Shick resigned as supervisor in April due to health issues. The township board appointed Kristi Cordray as supervisor; she had previously briefly served as treasurer until being ousted by Becky Sowles in last year’s election.
