Consumers Energy will be supporting ITC Michigan as they make upgrades to substation equipment in Montcalm County that will improve electric service for customers in the area. The overnight work will temporarily impact about 4,200 customers around Greenville from 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, until as late as 5 a.m. This outage is part of a series of improvements that began in November to strengthen the electric grid and enhance reliability for customers.
