After months of collaboration between city officials, residents, stakeholders and planning consultant Williams & Works, the city of Ionia’s updated Master Plan is ready for the next step: Public review. At its Aug.6 meeting, the Ionia City Council approved a motion to release the draft 2025-2030 Master Plan for the required 63-day public review period. The final draft Master Plan can be found on the city’s website at cityofionia.org/274/Master-Plan-2025.
