Sitting among constituents within Montcalm Township Hall, my laptop open, listening and taking notes, business was going as usual for this reporter on Wednesday evening. From the approval of special land use requests to the township clerk receiving a “sunlight” award for her diligent work identifying redundant registrations from the voter rolls, there was no shortage of important township business for me to cover in the public interest.
