A troop of taphophiles were spread throughout a historic cemetery on Aug. 2, moving from gravestone to monument. The word taphophile comes from the Greek words “taphos” (grave) and “phile” (loving), meaning they are interested in cemeteries and any associated history, art and cultural significance.
