Building Bright Futures fundraiser surpasses last year’s total with $38,400 raised for EFG

Following the success of last year’s inaugural Building Bright Futures fundraiser, members of the Education Foundation of Greenville had no idea what to expect in their second year of raising funds for student scholarships and teacher grants. But as paddles were raised into the air within the large barn at Frugthaven Farm on Wednesday evening, the nonprofit organization that operates with a mission of enhancing and supplementing educational opportunities for students and teachers at Greenville Public Schools was once again surprised to see an outpouring of financial support.
