Bluegrass artists Lindsay Lou and the Honey Moon Trio to perform in Belding on Saturday

While she’s spent the past 11 years immersed in the diverse musical genres and iconic venues that help compose the Music City, Lindsay Lou said there’s always something a little special about performing back in the state where she grew up. Born in Missouri and raised near Iron Mountain in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Lou, accompanied by her ensemble, the Honey Moon Trio, will bring her bluegrass talents to the Belding Performing Arts Center at Belding High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday for the annual Ash Cultural Event.
