The Belvidere Township Board, with the supervisor absent and the clerk position vacant, held a special 17-minute meeting Thursday night with 20 residents in attendance. Trustee Wayne Watts chaired the meeting in the absence of Supervisor Leigh Murray, while Treasurer Yolanda Lane took minutes in the absence of a clerk; Trustee Brent Dietrich was also present.
