The Belding volleyball team set out to do one thing this season, and that was to embrace their roots. Although their season came to an end earlier than they would’ve hoped, head coach Kelly Groenenboom believes they accomplished exactly that. “This has got to be one of the most improved groups of girls that I’ve coached,” she said. “From day one, they just had so much trust in the coaching staff and in the vision we saw that they could get to.”
